Just had our first visit with Dr. Kendall and staff, it was wonderful! Such lovely people! They took special care with my elderly cat , answering all my questions. The office was immaculate and we were seen right on time. Dr Kendall diagnosed my cat's issue quickly and put my mind at ease. I will never go anywhere else.

We started using Lucas Veterinary Hospital for our various pets when we moved to Lucas 26 years ago and have never considered changing. Dr. Kendall and his staff are genuinely concerned about our furry family members. They have always provided wonderful care and excellent advice. Over the years Dr. Kendall has advised us of ways to help our pets maintain a high quality of life as they aged. And he has given us all the information we needed when tough decisions had to be made. I've lost count of how many pets we've trusted Dr. Kendall with but we couldn't recommend him and his team highly enough.

After our previous veterinarian retired, we bounced around until we found our way here. Our dog was here for the last year of her life, and we can’t thank the people here enough for doing what they did over that year. Our dog felt comfortable walking in here and she was well taken care of during her check ups. We’ll be coming back once we’re ready for another pup.

My dog has been here a couple times since and everyone is great. The workers are kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The doctor is considerate, listens and works with you to come up with a treatment plan that works for everyone. They present all options and let you choose, without being pushy and don't seem to be concerned with selling more treatments/services. Recently my dog passed away and I called to ask if they do cremation (they do). Without my saying who I or my dog was the woman I spoke to asked if this was for my dog, Avery. She gave me the pricing and said to call when I arrive and they would come get her from the car. I don't know what standard cremation prices are but I felt the amount they gave me seemed reasonable and dropped my dog off that afternoon. I highly recommend this office because they are caring, compassionate, friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable.

Dr Kendall and his wife, Freda, and the entire staff at Lucas Vet are awesome! We have been going there for over 12 years now and won't go anywhere else! Dr Kendall really cares for his pet patients.. often staying late into the evening monitoring and caring for your pet, should they have to be inpatient.. and he even calls with daily updates! We know this because, unfortunately, our dog had to be inpatient for 17 days. We would see his vehicle still there as late as 9:30 pm and he would call with updates around that time, too, which we appreciated so very much, as we were so worried about our dog. He truly, truly cares about all of his pet patients! Julie, at the reception area, even bought our Leonard a stuffed animal to comfort him during this time! You can take comfort that your pets are loved on and given the very best care by all of the staff when you take them to Lucas Vet! After your pet's examination, Dr Kendall writes you a brief summary of exactly what to do regarding medications, activity, diet, etc. That is so helpful to have to refer to when you are back at home! And, of course, they have treats for your pets! :)

Just started going here after going to another vet I wasn't happy with. So glad I did! Vets are great. They do a great job with annual checkups and shots. Lucas Veterinary will now be our only vet!

I can't say enough good things about Lucas Vet. We recently adopted a BIG puppy from a shelter and quickly learned he was very sick. He had constant diarrhea all over the floors like something I have never seen, and we have adopted and fostered many dogs throughout the years. 3 days later my husband ended up in the emergency room very sick and ended up having to stay in the hospital for several days. I was at the end of my rope. I needed to be with my husband, but I had a very sick puppy that I could not leave in a crate with his tummy problems. I called a vet in the area who has a hospital and takes care of my cats. I told the front desk of our situation, but I felt they did not care and basically just blew me off. I was really disappointed. So then I called Lucas Vet, who has taken care of our dogs for many years, but I was unsure if they had overnight facilities. From the moment I called, they were so gracious and kind to me. Without hesitation they told me to bring the dog in and drop him off so I could get to the hospital, and in the meantime they would check out our puppy. To make a long story short, then kept my dog for 3 days and two night. It gave them time to assess the situation with my dog and calm down his stomach, but mostly it gave me the time I needed to take care of my husband and get him home. They are both home now, and they are both doing better. We could not be more grateful to Lucas Veterinary Hospital. They are truly angels on wings to us and they will be getting all of our business going forward. Their compassion in our time of need speaks for itself. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! .... P.S. Another bonus, you never have to wait for more than 5 minutes. They do not overbook, which we really appreciate. When you have anxious pets, this is a blessing.

We have been taking our pets to Lucas Veterinary hospital for over 18 years. I can't imaging going anywhere else. The level of care and personal attention that you receive from Dr. Kendall and his staff is better than most people get from own their doctor!!

Dr. Kendall and all of his team at Lucas Veterinary Hospital are just wonderful. Everyone who works at the office is very knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr. Kendall has so much wisdom, skill, and advice and always takes the time to listen to conerns we may have with our pets.

Great first experience here with our new puppy. Very clean and organized clinic and the receptionist, technician Ashlee and Dr. Paa were very friendly and welcoming with both our puppy and young child who came along to the appointment.
